A campus open to everyone.
Fifteen minutes from Vienna, ISTA is a working research campus and a place for the region to visit, learn and take part — all year round.
More than a research institute.
ISTA sits on a green campus on the edge of Klosterneuburg, on the Danube, fifteen minutes from central Vienna. It's home to more than 1,400 scientists from over 80 nations — and it's designed to be open to its neighbours.
Come for a public lecture, a family science day, a guided tour, or a visit to the VISTA Science Centre. Most public programming is in German, with English options throughout the year.
